Senior Executive Visa
What is a Senior Executive Visa?
As a Senior Executive, you need to show that:

You have an overall successful business career

You have been employed in two (2) of the last four (4) years in one of the top three (3) management levels of a major business with a turnover of more than (if you are un-sponsored) Aus$ 50 000 000 or (if you are sponsored) AUS$ 10 000 000

You have been responsible for strategic policy development affecting a major component of, or a wide range of operations of, that business.

You have notified an Australian State or Territory government business agency

You have not been involved in business or investment activities considered unacceptable in Australia

You have genuine and realistic commitment to participate, as a substantial owner, in the management of a new or existing business which will benefit Australia

In addition to meeting all the other criteria, you must score at least 105 points in the senior executive points test (DIMA will work out your points score form the information you give in your application)

You hold a business (long stay) visa at the tem of application if applying in Australia
Applicant's Responsibilities after arrival in Australia:

Obtain a substantial ownership interest in an eligible business in Australia

Notify DIMA of their address on arrival and keep DIMA informed of their current address for three (3) years

Participate in monitoring surveys conducted by DIMA
More about the Declaration:
The declaration the applicant signs acknowledges the if the applicant does not make genuine efforts to participate in business within 3 years of arrival after the visa is granted (outside of Australia), then DIMA has the right to cancel his/her visa as well as the visas of his/her members.
Define Eligible Business:
A business can be a new or existing business as long as it does one or more of the following:

Develops business links with the international market

Creates or maintains employment in Australia

Exports Australian goods or services
-
Produces goods or services that would otherwise be imported into Australia

Introduces new or improved technology to Australia

Increases commercial activity and competitiveness within sectors of the Australian economy
