What is a Business Investor Visa?
As a Business Investor, you need to show:
-
An overall successful record of business or investment activities
-
A total of at least 3 years experience in actively managing a qualifying business or investment
-
In one of the past 5 fiscal years, you have maintained direct and continuous involvement in either managing a business with at least 10 % ownership interest or managing eligible investments of at least AUD$1 000 000.

For the 2 fiscal years immediately preceding your application, your (or you and your spouse's) net assets were worth at least 50 % more than the amount you intend to invest in a Designated Investment in Australia

At the time of decision, you have made a designated investment of not less than AUD$750 000 (amount determined by the points test)

You have not been involved in business or investment activities considered unacceptable in Australia

You have a genuine commitment to maintain business or investment activity in Australia after the designated investment matures

Applicant's Responsibilities:
